Hello, I’m Patrick Walden

I am an LICSW, an EMDR-certified therapist based in Philadelphia. My mission is to empower therapists on their journey to becoming skilled EMDR practitioners. Through comprehensive consultations and specialized training, I guide professionals in harnessing the transformative power of EMDR therapy, ensuring you have the tools and confidence to facilitate healing in your clients.

Are you ready to advance your clinical skills?

A man with short blond hair, a mustache, and black earrings is smiling at the camera. He is wearing a beige sweater with horizontal black and red stripes, with a blurred background of warm lights.

As a trauma survivor and seasoned practitioner, I understand the profound impact of trauma on individuals' lives. Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I’ve witnessed remarkable healing in both my clients and trainees. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and resolve traumatic experiences. In our work together, you’ll learn how to implement these techniques to facilitate healing in your own practice.

We’re not just talking about what’s wrong,
we’re actually healing it.

Clinical supervision

In practice since 2008, I offer Supervision hours for Clinicians including individuals seeking LCSW and LICSW licensure.

My areas of specialty include Trauma and CPTSD, Gender and Sexuality, EMDR Therapy, Groupwork, and Narrative Therapy.

My supervision rate is $200/hr.

Ongoing Individual 1-on-1 Supervision

In my practice as a therapist and consultant, I provide ongoing individual 1-on-1 supervision to professionals seeking to deepen their clinical skills and enhance their therapeutic effectiveness. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner looking to refine your approach or a newly licensed therapist navigating the complexities of client dynamics, ongoing supervision offers a structured and supportive environment for growth.

Through regular sessions, we delve into case studies, explore therapeutic techniques, and address personal and professional challenges that arise in your practice. This continuous dialogue not only enriches your clinical insights but also fosters a reflective practice that is essential for maintaining therapeutic competence over time. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the nuances of client care effectively.

One-Time Supervision on Specific Questions or Topics

In addition to ongoing supervision, I also offer one-time sessions tailored to address specific questions or topics that you may encounter in your practice. Whether you are grappling with a challenging case, seeking guidance on a particular therapeutic approach, or needing clarity on ethical considerations, these focused sessions provide targeted support when you need it most.

During our one-time supervision, we will explore your specific query in depth, drawing upon my expertise and experience to offer practical insights and actionable strategies. This format is ideal for addressing immediate concerns, gaining perspective on complex issues, or refining your approach to client care without the commitment of ongoing supervision.

Each session is structured to respect your time and prioritize the issues that matter most to your professional development, ensuring that you leave with renewed clarity and confidence in your therapeutic practice.
